Elise received her 200-hour certification through YogaWorks in 2017. She has practiced yoga regularly for over two years, beginning with her last job where they had yoga classes offered on site. During that class, she developed a passion for the physical practice as well as the spiritual development and enjoyed the stress-relieving benefits of yoga. She has been taking what she has learned through training and has been able to apply it by teaching yoga classes at her current place of work, where she teaches all levels. Elise is excited to have you practice with her and continue learning more about yoga with her in class.
Elise instructs the following:
In this well-rounded class, we will stretch and strengthen our bodies, open our hearts and calm our minds. We will practice longer-held postures with a focus on alignment to refine and deepen our practice. We will practice flow sequences to help us connect with our breath and our subtle energy. Guided by the wisdom of yoga philosophy, we will learn to relate more deeply and authentically with ourselves and the world around us. Appropriate for all - modifications will be offered for beginners.
