Elise started practicing yoga in 2015 when a class was offered at her work. She developed a passion for the physical practice of Yoga but also enjoyed the spiritual elements of the classes and the way Yoga helped her to relieve stress. Elise received her YogaWorks RYT-200hr certification in 2017 and started teaching shortly thereafter. With her first baby, she attended Prenatal Yoga classes which helped her stay in shape throughout her pregnancy as well as after giving birth. She received her 20hr Prenatal Certification through Om Births in 2018 and feels particularly called to share the benefits of Yoga with Moms-to-be. With her bright and bubbly nature and aptitude for building a fun and welcoming community (not to mention her “Mom-hacks”!), Elise is thrilled to be leading the Prenatal Yoga classes here at YogaBalance.
