Heather Tamposi, RYT-200, has been a student of yoga for over 10 years, drawing on various types of yoga such as Vinyasa, Hatha and Yogilates. After a decade of teaching Pilates, combined with her passion for yoga, she decided to enroll in the YogaWorks Yoga Teacher Training at YogaBalance and received her certification in the summer of 2018. Time and again, her yoga practice has offered Heather direction, and she hopes to bring the same physical and mental benefits she gets from yoga to her students. Heather believes in a strong foundation of breath and proper alignment which she believes leads to the idea that when we can align physically we can then better align mentally, emotionally and energetically. When she’s not on her yoga mat, Heather can often be found enjoying her stand-up paddleboard, tandem bicycle, and love of live music with her family and friends.
