Ease your way into the evening and unwind after a busy day with Gentle Yoga!
Perfect for beginners or experienced students who want a slower paced, less strenuous class, in this class, we will focus on stretching postures, gentle flows and breathing techniques that release stress, reduce tension and promote relaxation. We will finish with an optional 10-15 meditation for those who are interested or enjoy a deliciously long and luxurious Savasana! Absolutely no Yoga or Meditation experience is required.

Beginners' Workshop 2: Fundamentals of Flow

Having learned the basics of a yoga practice (the why, what and how), now take your practice to the next level. In this workshop, Gen will be breaking down Sun Salutation A, Sun Salutation B, teaching the importance of transitions (how to move fluidly into and out of poses), and diving deeper into some of the more complex poses you might encounter in class.
This workshop is the next step after our Beginners’ Yoga Workshop, but all with 6 weeks+ experience are welcome to attend. $30 fee per person. YogaBalance monthly members get a 10% discount! Mats and props will be provided - participants can take advantage of a 20% discount on YogaBalance yoga mats on the day of the workshop.
In this transformational workshop, we will explore the science and mystery of sound and how it is used in modern medicine. We will learn about the physical and energetic properties of our body which will include an overview of the chakra system, human bio-field, and the expression of these energies in our bodies. Those in attendance will learn how to invite and co-create change in the physical, mental, and emotional patterns of our lives. Following the informational session, participants will experience a guided sound meditation using crystal singing bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, tuning forks, hand drums, and vocal toning. This experience will help bring awareness and healing intentions to the individual chakras for the purpose of creating stillness, balance and harmony to body, mind, and spirit. Join us for a truly restorative and soul-elevating experience with this sacred and harmonic medicine.
Prenatal Yoga Nov-Jan

Congratulations on your pregnancy! Join us for a six-week series of classes that will enable you to stay fit and active, reduce stress and become more in tune with your body at this very special time.
We will explore pregnancy-specific yoga postures, flows, modifications and variations that will help you find more comfort as your baby grows and your body changes. We will practice various breathing and relaxation techniques to help you stay calm and at ease during your pregnancy and during childbirth. We will create a supportive community and nurturing environment in which you will feel pampered, nourished and rejuvenated.
$95 for the full six-week session. YB monthly members get a 10% discount. No class 12/24 and 12/31.
Restorative Yoga is the perfect antidote to the stress of modern life. It is the art of active relaxation; a refuge from our busy lives and an opportunity to slow down, let go and create ease.
In Restorative Yoga, we practice postures supported by blocks, blankets, bolsters and other props, which allow the body to gently and passively stretch and open. Following the physical practice, we will enjoy an extended relaxation, which will include a guided meditation accompanied to bring you to a state of emotional and mental peace. You will leave this workshop feeling calm, refreshed, renewed and restored.

Beginners' Yoga Workshop

Everybody can do yoga! Our popular Beginners’ Yoga Workshop is specifically tailored for complete Beginners and is a wonderful, non-intimidating way to start your practice!
The workshop will include a 30-minute discussion about the history of yoga, the various styles of yoga, and both the physical and mental benefits of a yoga practice. The remainder of the workshop will focus on a breakdown of the basic postures of yoga with attention to alignment and options for modifications of poses as well as an introduction to meditation.
$30 fee per person. YogaBalance monthly members get a 10% discount! Mats and props will be provided, but participants can take advantage of a 20% discount on YogaBalance yoga mats on the day of the workshop.
